About
My name is Daniel D. Mann, and I was born and raised in Austin, Texas. I grew up alongside an incredible mother and a younger brother who taught me the meaning of love, purpose, and perseverance. While we didn’t have much financially, my mother worked hard to make sure we never felt it. She led with strength and sacrifice, and everything I do now is rooted in those same values.

After losing both my mother and my brother (the two people I loved most), I went through a long season of grief, reflection, and rebuilding. But eventually, I got to a place where I could make a promise to myself: that I would live a life worthy of the one I still have. Whether it’s by helping someone heal, offering encouragement, or simply bringing laughter into the room, I believe in using my time and energy to make life better for others.

When I was first introduced to wound care, I didn’t jump in right away. I took my time to study it, ask questions, and truly understand if it worked—and more importantly, if it could genuinely help people. Once I saw its real-life impact and the role it could play in improving quality of life, I was all in. That was my green light, and I’ve been moving forward since.
Partnering with RxWound as GentleMann Wound Care allows me to serve with purpose and intention. It’s my way of showing up for patients, caregivers, and providers with real support and compassion. This is more than a business... it’s a mission. And as long as I have the chance, I’ll keep doing what I can to help people feel seen and cared for.
Mission
At GWC, our mission is to advocate for those too often overlooked—particularly our aging population. We aim to bridge the gap in care by supporting clinics and physicians with accessible, effective wound care solutions. Through education, compassion, and clinician-guided support, we work to ensure that every patient (especially seniors) receives the dignity, attention, and healing they deserve.
Vision
We envision a future where every provider in the United States is equipped to offer their patients high-quality, evidence-based wound care.
